Hey there! This is my Degrees of Lewdity centric side blog. I'm Mirnalis / Mirna, I'm 20 and use She/Her & Doll/Dolls pronouns. I'm currently hyperfixated on Whitney and probably Bailey (Unfortunately.) Boundaries: I'd prefer if minors did not interact with this blog due to the contents of DOL. I post about topics such as rape, incest etc (all fictional & will all be tagged as "tw [topic]") so just be aware and stay safe. If you happen to like my art (somehow) or my PCs or headcanons, feel free to send me asks and stuff about them! I love talking about them. ♡ I will not reveal my main blog as I personally prefer privacy, and do not want my IRLs who have the blog knowing I enjoy this game. Thanks!

September & October 2018 Empties

* = disliked the product - would not repurchase ** = liked the product - would not repurchase *** = liked the product - might or might not repurchase **** = loved the product - would repurchase *HOLY GRAIL!*
1. dear, klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner (180ml / 6.08oz) source: Wishtrend thoughts: I’ve used a few of these already. I have definitely noticed that if I stop using this and start again later on, I would break out. I do like this toner as it’s quite moisturizing and can be used as a toner and essence. But like my last empty post I did mention that I don’t like how it interacts with products that are already on my face, and I find that it does take a while for it to absorb into the skin. rating: **
2. COSRX Centella Water Alcohol-Free Toner (150ml / 5.07oz) Source: Wishtrend thoughts: This was my first time trying this toner out.I like how simple the ingredient list is, containing only 8 ingredients. It does say that it’s made up of 10% centella asiatica leaf water and 82% mineral water from Jeju, plus there is no alcohol. I love that this can also be used as a facial mist as well. This doesn’t have much of a scent to it. I would say it smells like aloe but a very very faint scent. This was one of the items I brought along with me on my travel and it worked great, it didn’t break me out or anything. Surprisingly, you can now find certain COSRX products in Walmart Canada and the prices are decent as well, between $11 - $25 CAD. rating: ****
3. A’PIEU Madecassoside Sun Cream SPF 39 PA++ (40g) source: YesStyle thoughts: I actually found that this cream was a little thick for my liking on my face, hence I decided to bring it with me on my trip to use as my body suncream. I absolutely love it as body sunscreen, as I found that it spread better and no white cast. This is a physical sunscreen, and I didn’t find that it was sticky even when I was sweating. The only downside is that SPF isn’t that high and it’s only double PA plus instead of triple. I would say it’s a good sunscreen for days you know you will be in and out of the sun. It does have a slight scent to it but It did not bother me. I really enjoyed using this and would consider repurchasing this as it’s a thin tube which means it will be great for short trips/ travel. This is also inexpensive around $10CAD. rating: ***
4.  Daiso Cotton Puff (90 pcs) source: Daiso thoughts: I feel like I have spoiled myself by using some more expensive better quality cotton pads, that I find these just don’t measure up anymore, even when they are the cheapest. I have found that I love cotton pads that don’t lose too much of it’s shape when being used. I probably won’t get these again unless I’m really tight on my budget or I’m in need of cotton pads, which I doubt would ever happen. rating: ***
Tumblr media
5. Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence (150ml) source: YesStyle thoughts: I really like using this especially as a 7 skin method, where I pat the product into my skin multiple times. I have noticed a difference in my skin whenever I use this, as it does feel more moisturized. This was my second bottle and I have repurchased it again in the same exact kit which comes with the night repair ampoule. rating: ****
6. Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Borabit Ampoule (50ml) source: YesStyle thoughts: This is suppose to be a dupe for Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair but I have nothing to reference as I haven’t tried it. I found that this didn’t really do much for me if its suppose to help fight the signs of aging. Honestly, I didn’t see or feel like my skin had much of a difference when I used this product. But I got to say that the packaging is pretty. There is a slight scent to it which I can’t quite describe. In the end I actually used this to help moisturize my legs since I have a lot of scars, in the hopes that it’ll help “repair” them. rating: **
7. leegeehaam Grow Vita Propolis Ampoule (15ml / 0.51oz) source: YesStyle thoughts: I have read and heard good things about this, hence I decided to try it myself. I also bought this in hopes of comparing it to the Skinfood one I tried in the past. I also have another propolis item that I’m currently trying and that one is not that great/ worth the hype. Out of the 3 propolis items I have tried I still find that the Skinfood one is my favourite. They all do have different consistency, with this one being the most oily in a sense, but still my second choice. I did notice a difference when I used this, as it pretty much did everything it claims. “This supercharged, multi-tasking ampoule with 50% propolis extract smooths, boosts radiance, and revitalizes a dull complexion without feeling sticky or heavy. Used as a daily serum, it plumps skin with deep hydration while giving the surface a subtle sheen.” I actually saw all of this while I was using this on my trip and I did notice it when I got back as well, as I was finishing it off. However, it’s not like the same healthy glow/ radiance I had when I was using my Thank You Farmer Products. I don’t know if I’ll purchase this one as it’s around $20CAD whereas I can pay a bit more and get the Skinfood one which I like more and has more product. rating: ***
8. Skin & Lab Glacial Water Soothing Gel (100ml) source: YesStyle thoughts: This was actually pretty good. I mainly used it as a body moisturizer while I was on my trip. It was light and didn’t have much of a scent. But I do got to say that this was not as soothing or moisturizing as aloe vera gel. The product is good for face & body which makes it good for travel as it can be a 2-in-1 product. This was about $10CAD which isn’t that bad, but I mean I can get a tub of (korean) aloe vera gel for $5CAD more and 3 times the amount. Plus aloe vera gel can also be used as a 2-in-1 product. rating: **
Tumblr media
9. The Face Shop Herb Day Cleansing Tissue (70 sheets + 20 sheets) source: The Face Shop thoughts: These are still my holy grail cleansing tissues. I just love the smell of these and how soft and well these cleanse. I also brought the smaller version on my travels which were amazing as always. rating:  *HOLY GRAIL!*
10. Farm Stay Aloe Vera Moisture Soothing Gel (300ml / 10.56oz) source: YesStyle thoughts: I have been purchasing my tubs of aloe vera off YesStyle so far. I tend to just buy whichever is cheap as they all seem roughly the same to me. However, I have found a site that tells you what ingredients are in the various aloe vera products out on the market. So now I’m a little more picky/ wary of it. The product itself was very soothing/ cooling and refreshing especially in the summer time when it’s so hot out. But in the winter I find this too cold to use. rating: ***
11. Briogeo Be Gentle Be Kind Conditioner (29ml / 1oz) source: Sephora  thoughts: I actually have the full size of the shampoo and conditioner which I have yet to use. The scent definitely was something I had to get use to, compared to the Blossom and Bloom version. The scent of the Blossom and Bloom is still my favourite and I think I would repurchase that one over this scent in the future. I’m kind of a sucker when it comes to things that smell nice. and the Blossom and Bloom ones definitely smell AMAZING! Hopefully I will get use to the scent of this when I use the full sizes. rating: **
12. Laneige White Plus Renew Eye Cream source: Yesstyle sample thoughts: I wasn’t a big fan of this because it had shimmers in it, but I do see why it will help brighten up the under eye area. The texture was nice plus it wasn’t hard to spread under the eyes. I know that people tend to tap their creams in cause of how delicate the skin is around the eye, however I like to spread it. Hence why I like eye creams that are light and will spread and absorb easily into the skin. rating: **
13. fresh Rose Hydrating Eye Gel Cream (2ml / 0.06oz) source: Sephora sample thoughts: I definitely like the texture of this one as it was light and spreads easily. The only thing I don’t like about this is that the fragrance of this is strong. I do feel like this cream gave a good amount of moisture and is not bad. But in my books it’s not something I would purchase cause of the fragrance, although it doesn’t smell bad. This sample lasted me 3 days but it was also because I just wanted to finish it; I feel like this sample can probably last a week.  rating” **
14. Pyunkang Yul A Therapy Hand Cream: Sure Herb (75ml / 2.5oz) source: StyleKorean thoughts: I have been really enjoying this brand, everything I have tried haven’t been bad so far, but also not significant to me. I also find that this brand is very gentle on the skin. So far I do really like their lotion for my body and I have purchased the ATO version to try as well. I definitely like this scent for the hand cream more than the other one. I also found that this one seemed more moisturizing compared to the other one. Their packaging does remind me of Aesop a lot but for a fraction of the price. The only thing I don’t like about it is the packaging as it gets harder to squeeze the product out as you get closer to the end. I try to avoid these kind of packaging. I mainly bought this to try because it looked like Aesop’s. rating: **
Tumblr media
15. belif Moisturizing and Firming Eye Cream (25ml / 0.84oz) source: The Face Shop thoughts: This has been my go-to eye cream.I haven’t tried a lot of eye creams since I only started using them not too long ago. This jar pretty much lasts me the whole year which I think is worth it for the price and duration. But I do want to find alternatives that would work just as well at a lower price point. I have purchased a different eye cream to be used after this and I can’t wait to see how that will be. This one was good. It was moisturizing and so far I haven’t noticed any fine lines or anything. rating: ****
16. By Wishtrend Green Tea & Enzyme Powder Wash (70g / 2.47oz) source: Wishtrend.com thoughts: I do like the scent of this as it smells like green tea, which I absolutely love. I wasn’t a big fan of this, as I found it a bit annoying cause I have to mix it. I’m kind of a lazy person and like things simple. Like already foamed cleanser, those make life so easy as I can skip the step of having to foam it up before putting it on my face. But of course that isn’t very wallet friendly. I have definitely discovered that I do not like powder stuff especially if I have to use it frequently. I did only use this at night and it hasn’t broken me out or anything. It is also suppose to help exfoliate since it also has baking soda, but I didn’t find that it did that well. I find using a toner with an acid was better or even just using a scrub 2-3 times a week. rating: *
17. L’Occitane Sublime with Peony Extract Perfecting Mist (100ml / 3.3oz) source: L’Occitane thoughts: I actually bought this for my trip to LA two years ago. I thought this would be useful considering LA might be dry and I have never been. This wasn’t bad but the nozzle isn’t the best, or I just got a bad one. It would work normally for a few spritz and then flop. This is delicately scented and sweet smelling, with peonies. And I do find that it really helps when my face is dry. It works well under or on top of makeup. I do see my face a little “beautified” when I use this. However, this product doesn’t stand out too much to me. It has literally taken me 2 years to finish this bottle. rating: **
18. Nature Republic Rose Petal Moisture Mask (100ml / 3.38oz) source: Nature Republic thoughts: I bought this last year in September and it has been sitting in my stash. Wash-off masks usually take me a while to finish as I don’t really reach for them, like I said I’m lazy and like things simple. But I was going through my stash after my Asia trip to see what I still had and when stuff were expiring etc. And lo and behold this was expiring in November so I wanted to quickly use this and try to finish it up. I did use it for most of October until I started noticing that every time I had used this, I would find a small pimple on my face. So I’m just going to get rid of the rest. I would say I probably finished two-thirds of it, which I’m satisfied before getting rid of it. I initially bought this to compare it to fresh’s rose mask. I found that this one just wasn’t as moisturizing as the fresh one, or my jar is just old. But both versions do have real rose petals and the scent. This one is about half the price of the fresh one if I remember correctly. I would say this is a good dupe, but not something I would get in the future, plus it broke me out a bit. rating: *

IOPE Brighten Skin Luminous Bioscience Formula Set source: Aritaum
19. Brighten Softener Skin Luminous (15ml / 0.5oz) thoughts: I found this softener to be cooling and moisturizing on the skin. I enjoyed using this but wasn’t a big fan of the scent. I’ve actually had this set in my stash for a really long time and have finally gotten around to using it. rating: **
20. Brighten Emulsion Skin Luminous (15ml / 0.5oz) thoughts: This was light weight and spreads really easily which I do like. Just like the softener it has the same scent which I’m not a big fan of. rating: **
21. Brighten Ampoule Essence Bio Luminous (5ml / 0.16oz) thoughts: This product was the least favourite out of the set for me. I found it to be thick and it had a scent that I didn’t like, which was similar to the other two products. rating: *
22. Moisture Skin Soft Peeling Gel (15ml / 0.5oz) thoughts: This smells amazing and I did find that it removed the dead skin well. But more so on the surface. This sample has actually lasted quite some time and I did use it twice a week. rating: ***
Overall: I’m not a big fan of the set, but I did enjoy using most of the products. It has also gotten me to think if I should introduce a softener into my routine again, to add a deeper level of hydration compared to an essence. This set is really old and everything that I have linked is based on new packagaing and names as well.
Tumblr media
23. Davids Tea Candy Cane Crush (50g / 1.76oz) thoughts: This is my all time favourite winter tea. It has a way of soothing my soul. It has everything that reminds me of winter and xmas. Winter to me is all about them hot chocolate and candy canes (although I’m not a fan of eating them), but the red and white combination. This tea is just like how it’s described sweet and minty. It has white chocolate chips and crushed candy canes.  rating: ****
